Tofu and Wakame Miso Soup is a classic Japanese soup made with savory dashi broth, soften miso paste, silky tofu cubes, and rehydrated wakame seaweed. Light yet flavorful, it's a comforting, nutritious dish perfect as a side or starter.

Ingredients
  

  • ¾ cup Dashi (
  • 1 tbsp Miso paste
  • 2 oz Silken or firm tofu cut diced
  • 1 tsp Dried wakame Rehydrated is water and drained

Method
 

  1. Oure dashi into a small saucepan and warm over medium heat.
  2. Gentle add tofu and wakame. Simmer 1-2 minutes (do not boil hard)
  3. Turn off the heat. Place miso paste in a ladle, dip into hot broth, and stir until dissolved, then mix into soup.
  4. Transfer to a bowl.
