Ground Turkey Meat Ball Made with Oatmeal

Tender turkey meatballs simmered in a light, savory broth. Oatmeal replaces breadcrumbs to keep the meatballs moist and juicy.

Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz Ground turkey
  • 1 Egg
  • â…“ cup Quick oats
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • 4 cups Chicken or vegetable broth
  • 1 cup Carrot, napa cabbage, mushroom,
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce

Method
 

Prepping
  1. In a small bowl, combine oats and warm water. let sit for 5 minutes until softened.
  2. Chopp vegetable. Cut the carrot into thin strips, the napa cabbage into bite size, and slice the mushrooms
  3. In another bowl, mix the sorted oats with ground turkey, salt and pepper until well combined.
Cooking
  1. Shape into bite size meatballs. Bring broth to a boil in a medium pot, gently drop the meatballs into for 8-10minutes,
  2. Add vegetables and cook another 3-4 minutes.
  3. Season with soy sauce if desired.

  • Add glass noodles for extra volume.
